What are Rolled Oats?
Rolled oats are created when oat groats are steamed and then rolled into flakes. This process stabilizes the healthy oils in the oats, so they stay fresh longer and help the oats cook faster, by creating a greater surface area of the oat. Rolled Oats are perfect for making porridge and can be mixed with either water or milk.

Rolled Oats are high in fibre and contain beta-glucans† making this a great addition to your diet. Enjoy in the morning with any of your favourite toppings. Simply mix one scoop (50g) with 200ml of water or milk, and cook for 2 minutes in a microwave. Based on 800W microwave. Warning: Contents will be HOT. †Oat beta-glucan has been shown to lower/reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of beta-glucans.

They're large, have a nice texture and taste well. I eat them every day, with a scoop of chosen flavour, preferably whey because of the taste. I usually just blend a 30g whey shake with approximately 150ml water (just eye-measure), poor it into a bowl of oats, and heat them in the microwave. After, blueberries, cinnamon, or even the calorie free syrups which MP offers. As always, oats are filling and a great choice of carbs. 5/5 Goes Well With:Calorie free syrups, whey
*I previously wrongly posted this review on the instant Oats because I'm an idiot, sorry* Tastes great. I didn't even think oats could taste different from one brand to another. Well it does Cooks well. Honestly, I just throw it in the microwave with some skimmed milk and all toppings inside most times. Cheap. I mean, you got to admit it's very good value for money. Big packaging. I don't eat them too often because I'm on a cut, so I appreciate being able to buy in volume : it's environment-friendly and it means I don't have to worry about running out too soon.
