About taste..
5I would like to say something about taste especially for those who find it or worry that it tasts bad. I had before MyProtein whey powder with vanilla taste, mixed with milk and it was like a dessert after my gym session, loved it. Then I chose this one. It comes with good minerals/vitamins/creatine. Good mix. But when I read reviews about taste I was a bit sceptical. So first drink I made with 450ml milk, 2,5 cups powder. And it really was like other guy mentioned here, it was an achievement itself to finish it without throwing up. Thick, chalky taste, and longer I drank, worse it got with a horrible after taste. Gym buddy suggested to try with water and a bit less powder. So now I added 450ml water with 2 cups powder, mixed it for a minute. And I drank it in 2 goes. Taste was really good, not too thick and no after taste. So I really suggest to try it this way. Well done MyProtein!

Post workout boost
5Wasn’t really sure about buying this as often find “chocolate flavours” too sweet and sickly but this is actually ok and although still very sweet is acceptably so ! Would definitely recommend and it’s ease of mixing is great Have found when used in protein cookie recipes it’s absolutely delicious and far too more ish ! Goes Well With:Great mixed with an egg, ground almonds, almond butter and cacao nibs makes an excellent protein cookie

Tastes VILE
2So disappointed with this, the taste (chocolate) is beyond words, like someone has added a full tub of sweetener to it. I dread having to drink this now. Goes Well With:Water and/or the bin.

Horrible
1This was to sweet couldn’t drink it so now have a massive bag and can’t even use it thought I was going to be sick managed about 3 mouthfuls

Good post workout choice
4Had to try something new as my favourite brand is currently unavailable... This doesn't taste quite as good and is a little grainy, but seems to work just as well after a hard run or ride and I feel refreshed for my next session which is the main thing!

Too much powder
1Recovery XS was better than this as you didn't need so much powder. I always feel bloated after this because of the volume of powder needed.

Tastes chemically
1I thought that I would give this product a try having run out of High 5 and SIS protein recovery. I've used the Impact diet whey and Impact whey protein for around four years now so expected this to be very similar. Sadly it is not, the flavour is fine but there is a horrible chemical taste, the closest I can liken it too is putting saccharin in coffee instead of sugar, its foul in my opinion. I can't rate its performance as I have only had one shake and unless I can find a way to mask the foul taste it will be given away to a friend who doesn't find it unpleasant. It could be my taste buds but other reviews mention a bad taste. I even tried it with milk. In summing up, don't assume that you will like this just because you have had other My Protein products. I would definitely advise buying a sample before purchasing 2x2.5kg as I did.Goes Well With:In the bin.

Tastes horrid
3The ingredients look good but the taste is revolting. Chemically sweet and a bit gritty. Reminded me of dissolvable paracetamol.

Great product, but the taste, not so great
3I bought Strawberry Cream as an alternative to the delicious chocolate flavour, big mistake. I've tried mixing it into food and shakes, but the rank smell and flavour still comes through. It almost fizzes when you mix it like fruit that's gone bad. The best I've found is milk and hold your nose! It's a real shame as the product offers a fantastic blend and an alternative to chocolate would be welcome.Goes Well With:Nothing
