WASTE OF MONEY

This is honestly the sweetest thing I have ever tasted. I brought the chocolate version and it is so sweet it hurts my teeth and makes my tounge tingle. It makes me feel so sick. I tried mixing it with anything un sweet ie leafy greens,, rocket, spirulina, adding raw cocoa, cinnamon, ginger powder, un flavoured pea protein, and nothing hides the sweetness or nasty fake taste. Has gone in the bin! WASTE of money! DO NOT BUY!
Goes Well With:
Absolutely nothing

Great in Coffee

The Vanilla mixed in coffee with some coconut oil makes a terrific tasting bulletproof coffee alternative. Used it for a few weeks, One scoop twice a day in coffee and skin complexion is better, and joint pain also improving - plus no loss of size etc as replaced whey for this. Not great on its own as abit sweet but like i say, in a black coffee its amazing.
Goes Well With:
Coffee and coconut oil.

Hydrolysed Collagen

Started using Hydrolysed Collagen protein for joint pain and skin condition. It mixes great but is sickly sweet (thats why only rated 3 stars) would have been 5 stars had it been unsweetened. Unflavored would be even better as it could be added to more things
Goes Well With:
Milk/ Water but sickly sweet after taste

Reasonably Priced but sickly Sweet

I bought this product as it's very reasonably priced. But it has approx 5% colours/sweeteners. Don't really see why. The chocolate flavour tastes sickly sweet. I'd prefer a 100% powder with no flavourings.......I can flavour it myself if I can't handle the taste of the pure powder for the 20 seconds it takes to drink it.
Goes Well With:
It doesn't

Joint Pain

I am 64 years old and have been weight-training for 45 years. You can still keep a lot of strength at this age but your ability to train is severely hampered by joint pain.Arthritis is nothing and is actually relieved by continued training.Ligament pain is another matter.Every time you train you stress the joint ligaments but just as muscle tissue repairs stronger so too ligaments repair stronger. However when you get older your ligaments do not repair so well. Its likely to be shoulder ligament pain that eventually forces you to quit training.Collagen protein is apparently rich in the specific amino acids in ligament tissue.Having been on it for a month my shoulders are a lot less painful. Its much more expensive than whey protein but is probably worth it for older weight trainers who are less able to assimilate the necessary amino acids from other protein sources.
Goes Well With:
Water or milk
