Okay
2This is okay I guess if you can't handle whey properly, like me. However, the taste is very offputting and I cannot just have this with water right after I train or I'll gag. Overall, gets the job done.Goes Well With:Almond milk, stevia, and cacao powder

Pea protein
5Effective protein, mixes well, doesn't cause bloating which I find a lot of whey proteins do with me. The taste is very natural... Goes Well With:Water!

Rough
1Tried this out. Sweet - with nesquick, and savoury - in a chicken curry. Just cannot take it. Like a mixture of concrete dust and socks. Even in the curry slow cooked for 4 hours the chalkyness remained. Real shame as was looking for additional different type of protein as too much whey gives be ropey guts. Goes Well With:Sadly nothing for my taste buds

Isolate pea protein
1I really didn't like this product and have gone back to 'flavoured whey protein. I tried to disguise the taste with cocoa powder but it made it worse. On a positive note, it mixed well!

Not half as bad as some reviews make out
4Okay it's not the best tasting protein iv ever had, and the mix ability in water is okay if drunk straight away, it does separate when left. The taste however if fine, I miss it with some bcaa and flavdrops and I quite enjoy it!Goes Well With:Strong flavours

almost killed me
2I wanted to try something new, and everything went to the bin! The taste is horrible, I almost vomited after the first sip. Tried to mix it with water, milk, juice... Still the same. I'm sure biologically is a great product, but life is hard enough to drink this horrible shake. Sorry MyProteins, just my personal opinion! Don't buy it unless you are a strictly Vegan, then, well, I'm sorry for you.

Disgusting taste
3The test is extremely repulsive, I could not finish it, the same as a friend of mine.

like a fine dust
3I believe it's a great source of plant based protein, so I bought it to replace whey with it. Tastewise it's a bit rough, so I added some leftover chocolate flavoured Hurricane Extreme - this way you get a better flavour and better mixability. The powder's texture is so fine, that the slightest air movement could create a cloud of it :) So transfer it very very gently.Goes Well With:any other flavoured product or hot chocolate powder

Very bad taste
3This tastes like sand mixed with marmite and dog biscuits! Seriously, it's almost impossible to drink it just adding water. However, I found out that mixing it up with cocoa powder makes it drinkable.Goes Well With:- cocoa powder - banana

Bad taste
3I'm an optimist. I switched from vegetarianism to veganism recently and had ran out of whey protein, so I decided to give the pea protein isolate a try. I read the reviews about the bad taste of this product, but assumed the reviews were exaggerated. Because there was a sale, I bought 2.5kg. Curse my optimism!! This is probably one of the worst tasting things to ever enter my mouth. Truly horrible with a bad aftertaste that stays in your mouth. The powder is fine (a dust cloud erupts from the bag when you open it) and smells like fish food. HOWEVER - it is well priced, vegan and has good nutritional credentials. I can't complain too much. I've tried mixed it with a few things - none were good, but some made the shake drinkable. Cocoa and maple syrup has been the most palatable. Squash and water was okay. I tried cinnamon and maple syrup but that had no masking effect whatsoever. If you mix with water the powder dissolves well, but if you mix with almond milk/rice milk etc it forms a paste unless you add a large volume. My best advice is to down it all as fast as you can and chase with something to cover the aftertaste. I haven't tried the soy alternative, but in hindsight I would have chosen that product instead. Unless that one is awful too. In which case, try this!Goes Well With:Cocoa and maple syrup
