4All round fuel seems to be working fine, it's a great meal replacement shake, I previously tried huel but heard fuel was cheaper so gave it a go. Fuel tastes pretty good although it has a pretty strong sweetener taste, I got used to that fairly easily but my partner is not a fan for that reason. I found huel to taste a little bland. Both great products So really it's down to personal preference and price! I hope this helps someone make there choice easier. Oh I have lost 1st in two weeks, By replacing breakfast and lunch, It's super convenient for anyone who is busy and for me it helps me to be more in control of my eating habits!

Had high expectations but unfortunately disappointed
3I read the reviews of this product and was really looking forward to trying it as it sounded great! Unfortunately, as soon as I have it, my stomach starts gurgling and does so for a couple of hours. I am surprised with it being a vegan blend that it does this. It just leaves me feeling so uncomfortable. The lingering aftertaste is awful too, it doesn't even go once I brush my teeth. I tried the flavour drops to see if that helped, but no they don't. I bought a 2.5kg bag and feel that it's just going to be wasted :( I was mixing 2 scoops (instead of the recommended 3) with 400-450ml of water and found that it was plenty, as it was really thick. Couldn't imagine using another scoop.

Good value and nice flavour
4I really like the raspberry flavour, and you actually only need 2 scoops for it to fill you up, 3 scoops as per the serving size is 430 ish calories which is a bit excessive. Good value for money and great taste. Not the best mixability but I will get a better shaker or try a blender next time Goes Well With:Water and intermittent fasting

The most un-natural vanilla ever!
2So so so so sooooo much sweetener. Makes you feel sick, the aftertaste lingers. It's just nasty. A lot of potentials, apart from the sweetener, this is a great price for something on par with huel.

Like a cheaper, early stage Huel, but too sweet still!
4Huel was a great idea. Early Huel recipes were just too sweet. Thankfully, Huel listened and greatly reduced the sweetener content and even offered a non-sweetened version. I hope my protein does the same. This is a great product that just needs some refining. So much sweetener the taste lingers for hours after. Reduce/remove the sweetener and this is a winner for the price. If you don't mind artificial sweeteners (remember this is aimed at the vegan market) this stuff is decent enough. If like many of us you are conscious of the impact of artificial sweeteners on our body, this isn't an everyday type of product. Every now and then I can't see many issues myself. Body aside, the aftertaste is nasty... Goes Well With:Water and plant based milks

5Mixes really well, taste is not overpowering. Really thick once ready, pretty much liquid porridge

Convert from huel
5I've used this kind of meal replacement product for years. Soylent, Joylent, Huel, as well as some of the more expensive and lesser known ones. Been getting most of my calories from these products since 2016. And now I've found this it's basically the only one I use. It mixes well, I love the flavour, its a solid nutritional feed and it's cheaper than the rest even before the occasional ridiculous MyProtein offer that I use whenever I want to stock up. Fantastic product, highly recommended.Goes Well With:half water, half milk, or to pad out a nutribullet smoothie

Best Meal Replacement I have tried
5This stuff is great. The natural Vanilla is amazing. I've tried many different meal replacement shakes over the years but this stuff is hands down the best and affordable, to boot. Compared to Huel, which was the superior product on the market for me, prior to trying this, this stuff tastes better, is way cheaper and goes down easier. I mix with water, for less calories and it is creamy enough & mixes well. I typically use 2 scoops and 400ml of water because I prefer it thicker, with some ice cubes.Goes Well With:Water and ice

Very sweet but lemon juice helps
4I usually have Huel but have a Blue Light Card so save some ££ on buying this instead. It works for me the same way Huel does but it is very, very sweet and leaves a sweetner aftertaste for quite some time. I did read somethings to try to bring down the sweetness and am really pleased to say a big squeeze of lemon juice works with the raspberry & vanilla flavour. I haven't tried it with the chocolate yet - I am particularly struggling with the chocolate I find it tastes very banana-y (hate bananas.) Not fake banana flavour, real banana taste. All that said, you don't buy meal replacement because it tastes delicious. It serves a purpose. If you find it too sickly, try the lemon juice. I will definitely buy this instead of Huel going forward. Goes Well With:Lemon juice
