Using a blender, the soy protein is great - really tasty, but otherwise, it is impossible to mix and remains in big clumps.

This is easily the worst protein powder I have ever bought. I am lactose intolerant so can't eat whey products. I ordered this thinking it would be like the previous product I ordered ( Vegan Active woman's blend) which was good. This is awful and I want to return it and have a replacement. It won't mix, is glutinous, sets like concrete, tastes disgusting and smells foul. Can't believe you can actually sell this.

Easily the worst tasting shake I've ever had my entire life, don't even attempt to get it, even just to try! your just wasting your money, I've literally had one shake out of a kilo bag and its getting thrown in the bin. worst money I've ever spent.

Pros and cons

First thing is this doesn’t taste like chocolate at all but just of pure soy, which isn’t awful but also not great. When you mix with water it forms a thick paste but then you add more and it just becomes to thin and watery. The macros are really great though so I use it a lot for mixing with other stuff (eg protein brownies) and it has a really smooth consistency which is great as vegan powders are usually grainy. If you can get past the taste then it’s fine, super cheap and gets the job done.
Goes Well With:
Ground almonds and coco powder (mix w water and it tastes like crumbled cake)

Chocolate Smooth? Chocolate cement more like!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Bought this to try as a replacement for Whey but it is absolutely awful. It barely mixes at all but when it does it just turns into a cement that won't even pour out of the shaker. The taste is gag inducing and I've tried a lot of the flavours MyProtein have invented over the years. I can't comment on how effective it is as I've only managed to stomach it twice after a workout in a month and I train 4 times a week. Don't waste your money if you're thinking about trying this, stick to what you know like I should have done!
Goes Well With:

I really enjoy the taste of strawberry cream protein powder, just by adding some water it tastes like strawberry pudding! So creamy and soft! I purchased the unflavored soy isolate too, very good for making protein pancakes and smoothies. I will definitely repurchase after I finish them.
Goes Well With:
Water, plant-based milk, Oatmeal, smoothies, pancakes...

Just received my Soy Protein Isolate. Was overcome with excitement. I've been using the Whey Isolate......excellent stuff. But I was seduced by the thought of no bloating alongside my gains. Hence said excitement. I added the water, my little (soon to be bigger?) biceps rippling as I shook the shake bottle as hard as I could......then realised the powder had sucked up the amount of water that I would have added the the whey, and turned to unset cement. I added more water.....it loosened up marginally. Lost my temper and added more.....bingo! I'm just the kind of girl who doesn't enjoy a tall milkshake, etc. I've got the chocolate smooth and it's not that chocolatey. I do feel for the people who've ordered the unflavored. Oh well, better get drinking....
Goes Well With:

As a Vegan I worried about what the protein tasting awful as that is what I'd heard, but I was very surprised as to how creamy it tasted and how filling it is. I mix mine with Vegan BCAA and it mixes really well. It tastes great with Water or Soya/Almond milk which is great. The advantage of high protein value and low carbohydrate value is something that you would really find hard to come by with any Whey protein. Great value.
Goes Well With:
Vegan BCAA / Soya Milk / Almond Milk.

Very hard to mix

I bought this as a vegan substitute to whey isolate but it's simply far too difficult to mix. I recommend using a blender as otherwise you end up with a thick, almost cement-like mixture, however this isn't viable for anywhere other than home. Lesson learned: stick to whey isolate.
Goes Well With:
Soy milk, if you can get it to mix.
