This is by far the best tasting, smoothest vegan protein powder I've ever had. Mixes well with other ingredients, my only advice is to use more liquid that recommended, as it can be a bit thick sometimes! (Also PLEASE make larger tubs of this, I go through 1kg so fast)Goes Well With:Frozen Raspberries + Almond Milk
I bought the strawberries & cream flavour and have previously bought soy protein powders and know they aren't as liquidy as whey - they tend to be rather thick and it can feel off-putting if you try to have it as a drink. I made it first using the recommended amount of water and my first thoughts were that the the taste was great, albeit rather sweet, and that it was really, really filling as a drink, leaving me feel rather bloated. However, I now have this as a guilt-free, high protein pudding in the evening when my sweet cravings kick in after dinner. I fill the blender with about 7-10cm (no more) of water first (this is important otherwise it's impossible to clean it afterwards!), then add one & a quarter scoops of the powder. Blend it, and if it's too thick to even come out of the blender, add a teeny bit of water and blend again. I then quickly empty it into a v.small bowl/dish and put it in the fridge to 'set'. I then have it after dinner as a pudding, eating it like Angel Delight (as another reviewer said). I sometimes add oats as a crunchy topping or cinammon, or blend it with some cacao powder for added magnesium. As a low calorie pudding it's delicious - might try the chocolate one next! Goes Well With:a spoon as the perfect high protein, low calorie after-dinner pudding
It has a very bad taste and almost impossible to mix. Not recommended.
Great product! I was a little sceptical at first but it not only tastes great helps to ensure I get my daily protein. It is a lot thicker than other powders I have had before which took me a little by suprise. Also requires a very good shake to mix, as the powder can sometimes stick to the shaker. I would definitely buy again.Goes Well With:Water
I've cut dairy out of my diet in the last six months and switched to these Soy Protein powders instead of whey and don't really notice the difference. Can't knock it for the price per kg and grams of protein per scoop in comparison to other non-dairy powders. Definitely had whey powders that taste worse than these do. Had chocolate and strawberry cream first time around, gonna buy the chocolate again but skip the strawberry this time. Will switch it up for vanilla that I can maybe add fruit to instead. TIP- Put some water in your shaker first, then add your powder, then top up with water...this stops it from clumping or sticking to the bottom edges of your shaker. 1x 30g serving with 500ml of water is a good consistency, any less water and I find it too thick. But after a hard workout of cardio and lifting I need to replace water anyway so this is no problem for me.
I personally love this. It’s nice to have a plant based protein powder. I have vanilla and it’s ok, but is best mixed with something else otherwise it’s a bit too plain. Will personally probably buy a different flavour next time. The only issue I have personally is I find it doesn’t mix great, there tends to be lumps floating about. However, overall, I love the product. Goes Well With:Soya milk and a banana blended together.
This is not a drink it is so thick and you will need a spoon! The taste is disgusting! Such a waste of money. I contacted My Protein and they said it meets standards.... what a joke!
An excellent source of High Quality Protein at a very good price. Mixes well with milk but recommend mixing with a chocolate/strawberry milk powder as the unflavoured version is yukky. A wide amino acid profile for muscle growth and also satisfies hunger for those trying to diet.Goes Well With:Milk(dairy) and nesquik.
Product is unflavored so it's versatile enough to use in a variety of ways, I like to add it to drinks, or use with breakfast cereal, so don't want it flavored. It's a good level of protein, 27g for a 30g scoop, compared to other veggie options like hemp that don't offer as much protein per gram. I've only just started to use it so I don't know quite the effectiveness of it for me at the moment, however I'm confident that with the increased protein, i'm going to enjoy the benefits aesthetically. In terms of other benefits, after a recent full body inflammatory response to super hard build up and then mammoth session. So I increased my use of this Soy Protein to aid recover and i'm convinced that it helped cut recovery time down to 4 days. That's 6 days quicker from when I had the same inflammatory response in November. On the not so good side, Soy Protein Isolate doesn't mix that well and even after shaking for a fair amount of time, it's still a bit lumpy. Goes Well With:Mixing with drinks and having on cereal.
I bought the strawberry cream and I just can't get past the taste, it is horrible and thick.
One of my favourite proteins. Mixes thick and smooth (REALLY thick if you add less liquid- I use unsweetened almond milk- and put it in the blender. You get guilt free chocolate mousse!! Great after a long workout. Also keeps me full slightly longer than other powders. Also I’m allergic to stevia. So love the fact that I can still get a veggie protein that doesn’t use it as a sweetener- just because it’s ‘natural’ doesn’t always mean it’s better! For me, this stuff is great- I can’t be without it.Goes Well With:A hard training session... Or a a spoon if you make it thick and want angel delight!!
Poor, very thick when mixed and basically impossible to drink. Like a thick syrup.
Used this as an alternative to dairy in my diet and was dubious at first but it mixes well and has no after taste like some other brands
I purchased this protein powder for when I go to the gym. I find it isnt very easy to mix in with porridge, it makes the porridge quite dry and thick. Its good to mix with water for a post-gym workout or just to increase your protein intake for the day. I wouldn’t recommend mixing with milk as it thickens quite quickly, water is best for a protein shake. Generally quite nice taste, better than plain flavour. Good product and would recommend to anyone who wants a soy alternative :) Goes Well With:Water and mixed into porridge
So after reading the reviews I was dubious to whether I was going to like this... I ordered unflavoured to add to a breakfast shake of different ingredients - peanut butter, almond milk, cocoa powder and greek yoghurt. It mixed perfectly (blender) and was a lovely light milkshake consistency. Would definitely buy again but in chocolate flavour. Goes Well With:Anything to add flavour.
I’ve only tried the strawberry cream flavour and I mix with plant milk, ice and frozen strawberries and whizz it in the blender. It mixes well and has a good flavour and is like a smoothie. It is thicker than normal whey and a blender probably is a must with a little bit of extra fluid. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and no complaints and if you are dairy free then I’d recommend as has a good protein content. Goes Well With:Frozen fruit
This product does promise everything a protein shake should. It tastes good and it has a high protein content. The only downside, which is annoying when washing out shakers and even when consuming the drink is the consistency. It is very thick and requires a lot of water to mix it with, and sticks to the shaker somewhat. I will definitely buy again but the product could definitely be improved!
I accidentally bought unflavoured and it was an absolutely disgusting taste and texture, really thick and almost undrinkable even after adding more water. I have not tried flavoured however i can't imagine it will be much better.
I have so far used my blender to mix this. I bought the non flavoured one as I was not keen on the sweetners used in the others. I have used it to mix with fruit and water and almond milk and banana smoothies. It is great, you can't really taste the Soy as you can in other protein shakes I have used before. I use this after my 10k runs and swims. So far so good. I am new to protein shakes so can't really say if it's made a difference with regards to increasing my weight.
This tastes revolting. It is grainy and makes me gag, even the tiniest spoonful is enough to ruin whatever you put it in. Tried to make a shake with banana, cocoa powder and the chocolate smooth version of this and hated it! Even my brother who likes everything had to wash his mouth out. So now I have a massive push of unwanted protein powder. Save your money!Goes Well With:The bin
