Look , I know lots of healthy alternatives can taste bad or not as good , as say , the unhealthy low protein version and I accepted that when I ordered this. I knew it wasn't gonna be the best tasting porridge ever. BUT I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS TASTE, it at some point started tasting like soggy meat for me.It truly is inedible and please stir away from this , the protein value was not worth it enough to make me eat all of it honestly(31 grams!!) Goes Well With:my trashcan
Literally the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I've tried quite a few of the myprotein products and have been happy every time. We bought 6 and tried one. I was almost sick, as was my partner. The remaining 5 we gave away as a joke to friends at the gym. They also couldn't swallow one spoonful. Goes Well With:Nothing
Found this product excellent for my Competition Prep. i.e. BNBF Finals Masters. Sufficient Protein and lower Carbs. than other brands making it ideal for Breakfast/ Pre-Workout meal.Goes Well With:CLA/ Carnitine
Great price, good value for money however the taste isn't great. Have used two out of the pack and rest in the bin.
I mixed exactly as per the instructions and the final product looked like wallpaper paste! Super thick and lumpy, and was hard to make sure everything was incorporated so I had to add some more water to it. Was still very thick and has a grainy/powdery taste to them as well. I knew they wouldn't necessarily taste fantastic with it being a protein porridge mix, but the only flavour in it came from the freeze dried berries so every other mouthful with gloopy and tasteless. Future oat breakfasts I'll be doing it myself with normal oats and my choice of protein powder!!
I know that healthy, protein breakfast options are never going to taste like full-fat chocolate muffins... I came to terms with that years ago. And, mostly, I don't mind swapping out the sweet treats for a healthier, balanced alternative. HOWEVER. This porridge is disgusting! I couldn't actually finish the whole pot. Maybe other flavours are ok but steer clear of the chocolate one. It's very powdery and really hard to mix up - so you get clumps of undissolved powder in your mouth - and the sucralose sweetener gives it an unpleasant aftertaste. I wish I'd just bought a sample but I have a whole pack! :(Goes Well With:Plenty of water to wash it down!
Tasty and really good macros but it doesn’t mix the best and I’ve found you need to microwave it for a minute or so to help it mix a bit betterGoes Well With:Fresh fruit
Just bought these and am mixed about them. They are very lumpy if you follow the original instructions. I changed the prep and instead of boiling water, I put the porridge into a bowl and added milk. I then blend the whole mix before microwaving it for about 2 mins. Then add more milk as it gets very thick. Taste ok in the end, it´s not inedible.
Tastes horrible, couldn't even finish it. Very lumpy and doesn't mix well, rest will be getting chucked.Goes Well With: the bin
