Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
The carbohydrates in Instant Oats will contribute to muscle recovery† after high intensity and/or endurance exercise. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 2 1/3 large scoops (100g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours of exercise.

Great every day
Easy to mix (I use a blender) and tastes great with a chocolate impact whey protein for a filling start to the day. I can't believe how good it tastes and I actually look forward to having it and it is doing the job. I use these every single morning due to following a food plan. I mix them with impact whey, milk and frozen fruit and flavour drops and it always tastes amazing. I bought the vanilla ones recently so I don’t have to use extra sweetener and it blends so easily compared to normal oats. I can use them in baked oats too which makes the consistency a lot nicer. 100% recommend.Goes Well With:Smoothies, baked oats, cakes, pancakes

Taste is great (I normally buy chocolate). Mixes well beacuse it's so fine, almost never get lumps, smooth texture. Great way to get some extra calories and carbs in your shake. I mix mine with creatine and pea protein and the chocolate flavour covers up the taste nicely.Goes Well With:Water

I have been mixing this with my protein powder for years now, it adds thickness to your shakes to make them even tastier! I find that having protein powder on it's own can cause stomach cramps but with this added it doesn't! As for the nutrition side this is the absolute best source of carbohydrates you could ask for, not only that but each serving contains 10G of protein and 10G of healthy fats! It really is a must have for packing on muscle and overall health.Goes Well With:Whey Protein
