These pancakes taste absolutely amazing! I was surprised as I thought they would taste bland - but I was wrong. They taste delicious and are so low in calories so its a win win situation. Ive bought two bags already and am looking forward to my third!Goes Well With:Sugar free syrup, milk
First time trying these this morning and wow they are so yummy you can make a lot of pancakes with not much mix I mixed mine with soya Milk (a little more than it said to) and they came out perfect. Topped with low sugar jam and fruit and they were so tasty and the macros are great! A new breakfast favourite I think. Goes Well With:Jam Fruit Maple syrup
This looked like a promising product. It was easy to make, good nutritional line-up, even the texture was pleasant... But WHAM!! The flavour just wasn't palatable for me... it was a sickly sweet/synthetic flavour. I couldn't stomach my whole serve - into the bin :(Goes Well With:The rubbish bin :(
I ordered the maple syrup flavour and tried making them just this morning and I have never tasted anything so sweet and yet so ghastly at the same time - and I have the biggest sweet tooth. The smell was delightful however, but doesn't make up for the fact that I had to throw them in the bin. Much rather make my own with the Vanilla Impact Whey. Goes Well With:The bin
Bought these in the smallest size in the golden syrup flavour. 2 days later I bought the biggest bag! They are amazing. Don’t understand anyone who said they are dry as mine are always moist! They are simply fab! Really easy to mix ( I use my nutrabullet to do this) and are ready in literally a few mins! Goes Well With:My protein sugar free syrups .. almond or peanut butter... anything you would put on a normal pancake!
Taste nice but takes a few attempts to work as mixture doesn’t stick to the pan
The pancakes without any alterations to the instructions are like hard disks. The taste is poor and the texture is even worse. You're best off mixing some protein with your own oat flour.Goes Well With:The bottom of a garbage bin.
So when I first started using this product I was pretty dissapointed. Never use water it's awful, always cow milk (low fat or full). They're fluffy but kind of dry so I started mashing an apple or banana into the mix or sometimes peanut butter. If you add fruit add that first and then the milk just because sometimes you dont need milk for unsweetened homemade applesauce for example. Add vanilla protein drops and you're sorted. Toppings are a must too to make them tasty! low sugar jam, almonds, dark choc, yoghurt... Once you get used to them they're amazing! I even became a little addicted but they do take getting used to compared to standard pancakes (no comparison). Think of the protein content!!! Being 130lbs I only use 1 scoop per serving but can vary between individuals. Great snaaack!Goes Well With:Vanilla MyProtein Drops MyProtein Syrup Fruit Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate (1 square)
These pancakes are amazing. I got myself 2 flours golden syrup and maple syrup and they both taste amazing.
These are so yum, I think of them as a proper dessert! Have been cooking them as waffles with peanut butter and some fresh fruits (strawberries or bananas) and usually treat myself with them after a brutal workout! Very sweet, fab macros, absolutely delicious!
What a mistake I made of ordering the golden syrup flavour. It is so sweet that it can actually make you throw up. I have tried adding salt to the mix or make a very runny mix with extra milk but this stuff is unbearably sweet. Revolting product. Typical cheap low quality product from my protein. Avoid it. Goes Well With:Insulin because this stuff will give anyone diabetes. It's not a health product
I bought the chocolate flavour in 200g just to try it out as the macros were so good I didn’t quite believe it. However, I’m a delightfully surprised! They taste great! I will definitely be buying more!!Goes Well With:Frozen strawberries - defrost them before hand so that they are juicy.
I bought 3 flavors: Maple syrup, Chocolate, and Golden syrup. The tastiest one, by far, is the Maple syrup - you can have the pancakes on their own, no need to add any toppings and they will still satisfy a sweet craving :D - Chocolate - not very chocolatey, all I could feel was the sweetness. 3/5 - Golden syrup - better than the chocolate flavour 4/5Goes Well With:Coconut yogurt, soy yogurt, greek yogurt, peanut butter, melted chocolate
My review is of the Golden Syrup Flavour What a fantastic product, no other pancake mix I've seen on the market has macros as good as these and mixes well just in a shaker and tastes great. If you're fed up of mixing egg whites in blenders and making a mess this is what you need. I find 50g with 150ml milk works perfect for 2 large pancakes whoever make sure you spend some on a decent non stick pan, i made the mistake of using an old pan and i ended up with a bin full of mush and hungry.Goes Well With:Great with berries, banana and I highly recommend the butterscotch sugar free syrup with them!
Nice with almond milk and cow's milk. Flavour isn't too strong and is close to real golden syrup. Good texture. Will buy again.
I got the maple syrup flavoured pancake mix and it's a nice treat to have in the weekends or when I have time - feels like you're having something really bad for you but it's not. I struggle to make nice thick looking pancakes as they show in the videos - they tend to come out quite thin and flakey a bit around the edges. But I've made it with water and with soy milk now and was happy with the taste of both. Definitely need to add some fruit or something though to help it out - I have mine with sliced banana. Their serving suggestion of 2 scoops made 3 medium sized pancakes for me. Will probably buy more when the bag's empty.Goes Well With:Banana, berries
I had the maple syrup pancakes they were lovely just used some peanut butter and sugar free butterscotch syrup to even out the sweetness they were awesome.Goes Well With:Syrup, peanut butter
all the flavours are good but maple has the best taste and texture- is less dry than the other ones. perfect for a pre-prepped breakfast- i just pop them in the microwave in the morning when i'm rushing!Goes Well With:berries, banana, nut butter, sugar free syrups
These pancakes are so easy to make and the flavour is so good. I got golden syrup wasn't to sweet just enough. Highly recommend. Goes Well With:Yoghurt & fruit.
